Ellen's Story
Life
My husband Steve and I have been married for 40 years and have 2 daughters. We met while I was still attending Brooklyn College and married right before he started his senior year in dental school. After he graduated, he entered an Air Force Dental Internship program at Scott AFB in Illinois, and then we spent three years stationed in England. After that he entered an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency in Baltimore.
We now live in Atlanta. After being his office manager for 10 years, I took my skills to a non-profit organization...Expand for more
where I was grossly underpaid as the web-master, database administrator, computer guru and general administrative assistant. I "retired" in 2007 to pursue my hobbies, which at that point held much more interest to me than my job. My hobbies include most fiber related handcrafts(especially weaving,) jewelry making, traveling and reading (when I am not on the computer.)
Our older daughter still lives in Atlanta, where she is an IT professional. Our younger daughter lives in Los Angeles with her husband and new baby daughter and is an artist.
