Elma's Story
Life
I have many memories of HITP. After graduation I moved west to attend school at the University of Denver. My major in Hotel and Restaurant Management was a logical step. I was to inherit my parents small resort on the St. Lawrence River. I enjoyed the course work, but my creative nature called, along with the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. our children. My oldest, a son, is thirty and my three daughters are in their twenties. I currently live in Albuquerque, New Mexico and have lived in the southwest since 1974. I teach at Albuquerque High School, senior English and Creative Writing. So, I do remember Ms. Pence. She was very upset when I turned in a literary criticism on JR Tolkien. She actually would not accept it. Oh, I loved the trilogy when I was in high school and still do. I will post a few photos of me and my family.
