Elmer's Story
My Name is Elmer Rhoten I was living with my Aunt for about a Year in Linwood .
When I left Linwood school I went into the Navy and stayed until I retired in 1976.
I think that one of my cousins was just entering linwood her Name was Patsie Childress.
I was only there for about one Year.

nds right off I had to be around other children for at least one Year before I could call them a friend because I moved so much between Cincinnati and St. Louis, Mo. where my mother was living when I was in school every time that I went from 7th to 8th I would move to one of the cities and would be put back one grade .
