The wildest thing I ever did in high school was cut class with a couple other girls... a whole days worth. One of the girls boyfriend let her use his car for the day and she invited me and another classmate to go to Ft. Collins and thereafter to Sealeys Lake. We planned to goof around driving and do some sunbathing. As I had never purposefully sunbathed before, the sun zapped my energy and I woke up to some serious sunburn. When my parents got home that evening, my mother thought I had a fever since my face was so flushed. I assured her it would go away, then she noticed my arms were also super red & looked a little closer and asked how I got the sunburn I told her in P.E. She didn't buy my story and then asked to see my back. I knew then I was in trouble. I then told her where I had been. She just looked at me and told me not to to do it again and not to expect her to write an excuse to go back to school the next day. I went in and told the Admin.
