Eloy's Story
In high school I had a varied collection of friends Sports, Loners, Nerds, Music and just the regular Northsiders. If you graduated from north you graduated and survived and had a great time attending an inner-city school. WooHoo! N...O...R.T.H!
The Band my focus...By the way North has many awesome musicians who went on to greatness. Jack LaForte...what can I say,...A Lot! Too much for this forum. He taught us all musical diversity. We marched in parades to the coolest salsa drum cadence, had a productive concert band, and the jazz band always brought them to their feet.

we played 90 minutes with 9 or 10 on the field (it takes 11 to make a proper team). The coach Mr. (Okiki) was great, just not enough participation. I learned later that he put his daughters through medical school and all are doctors...what a tribute to a great coach. My brother and Brian Moscosso got me interested and involved.
After HS I attended Metro State College. I worked hard and Graduated (wow...say that backwards...wow). I Moved to Las Vegas in early 1985. I taught in the public schools and played the trumpet. I lived in Nevada till about 1990. Returned to Denver. Still love to play music and I also work for the City of Denver. ELOY
