Elsa's Story
After I graduated from Valley, I got a late appointment to the Air Force Academy. I majored in Space Operations and met my future husband, Tom Bruno (whom I married in 1989).
I graduated in 1987 and began my military life. I have lived in and traveled to lots of places while in the military. My favorite assignment was in Australia. My most memorable experience was visiting East Germany years before the wall came down. In 1996, I got my Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from UC Boulder and moved on to my toughest, but most rewarding assignment which was teaching at the Air Force Academy.

usband got out of the military in 1991 and started his life of entrepreneurship, and I got out of the military in 2001 to have more kids. I am now a full-time mom of 3 very active boys, part-time consultant at the Air Force Academy, homeschooler, and business owner.
My husband just sold one of our businesses and is now semi-retired. We currently work together part-time on our internet business.
God has really blessed our lives. I wouldn't trade any of valleys or mountains, and we are excited about our present and future.
