Orlando, Boot (it should be Boondocker) Camp, in the winter of 1989.
Corry Station in the spring of 1990. Man, I HATED working in the galley. I was on midnight shift, slingin sliders. Making bug juice. And afterwards...cleaning that m$#$A%f*(*g grille!!! And they told me I'd be a sailor. Oh well. Lots of good friends.
Monty, Terrence, Burroughs, Brian, Tiny, Gray, damn, the names don't come to me like they used to.

at nightclub in town? Me and my buddies just had to get it on with the locals. Then somebody pulled a bat out of the back of a pickup truck and then tried to act like Hank Aaron on dudes heads. Then those chumps followed some unlucky sailors back to the base and were busting caps as a certain truck drove through the gates (without stopping mind you). Its a good thing the sentries didn't bust caps as well.
