Emery's Story
I finished High School, then went on to College. Went into military for 6 years, got out, got married and had 3 kids. Went to work in Industry, lived in Chino, made lot's of money but toooo many hours and travel killed the marrage. Moved to South Carolina (that's where my wife was from)started teaching in High School which gave me more time to be home with my kids. Had my own business on the side (electronics). Raised 3 kids, then when they were out on their own, I married a gal from Michigan. Janet was also a teacher. We are both now retired and traveling. We have a home that I designed and helped build in Anderson, SC on Lake Hartwell. We also have a place in upper Michigan, 14 acres with a river running through it, that we go to for 2 months during the hot mont...Expand for more
hs of summer. Good hunting, fishing, and canoeing, but it does get cold and rainy in October and then it's time for this southern boy to go home. We also belong to a club in Dominican Republic which we go to once a year to be lazy and scuba/snorkle dive, drink, and smoke cigars and talk to all my friends who live there. We travel to Sebastian, Fl. where we spend 6 weeks each year in a two bedroom condo at Oyster Pt. We travel to California and Florida to see friends and family each year, also we go on one big trip to another country each year and take at least one cruise each year.
PS We also have lot's of Grandchildren that I like to spoil rotten. I am their Papa and they are my rug rats. Love them all "to the moon and back". Life is good, Retirement is good.
