It's midnight in the middle of nowhere, Russia, and I should be in bed to go to work tomorrow. I manage 20-odd translators in four locations (Shchuch'ye, Moscow, Chelyabinsk, & Volgograd) for a U.S. government project. We're building a facility to destroy chemical weapons with YOUR tax dollars. Thanks! You're keeping me well-fed here (pinching about an inch here).
Kit got me hooked up with Parsons because she wanted me to work near her place in Pasadena. Little did she know it would land me on the other side of the planet!

sionary to seminary grad student to high school English teacher (Doc Samsell nearly got me a job at Buckley, and I worked with Mr. Page at St. Genevieve's) to film extra to word processor/tech. editor (in Parsons' dungeon) to weekly report editor to manager of Translation Services in Shchuch'ye.
I love my job because it lets me empower these translators to grow professionally and personally (once a teacher, always a teacher). It's truly a blessing. I get to travel tons, too, which I really love.
