More about Emily:"I was born a poor white child in Pike county, KY. I was raised in Williamson, WV, which was mostly boring except for the occasional bear getting lost and romping through town. I went to SWVCC college after deciding that being a cashier at the Piggly Wiggly just wasn't for me, and then I went on to Morehead State, where I stayed until I ran out of classes to take. I worked for a long time as a business/computer teacher, then I moved to Georgia, started working at UGA, and raised the greatest son in the world, Michael. He left last week to go to college at Georgia Tech - Savannah. Now I'm home alone - Yippee! Time to catch up on everything I put aside before becoming a momma. Now what did I do with that potholder I was knitting while I was waiting to go into labor . . .".
