May 29, 2009 Wow, it's hard to believe that I turned the big 50 a couple of days ago. I feel no different than when I turned 30. I still feel like I'm waiting to grow up. 50 didn't look like this when I was a kid. I went to Chicago over the Memorial Day weekend and had a ball. This time I actually left the airport. I could move there if it wasn't so cold in the winters. I tried to do the tourist things but of course I ran out of time. I did get to go by our President's house which of course you can't get near. Went to the Navy Pier and they had fireworks just for me, well, maybe not. It was fun anyway. Ate some famous Garrett Popcorn which was okay. I don't see what the big deal is, it's popcorn. I have a couple of pics of the trip as well as a couple of birthday presents that I had to model that I have posted. I came home on Monday night and on Wednesday my official birthday I got sick. Couldn't make it to dinner with friends and had to cancellunch and happy hour today. I'm hoping this pass soon. I can't afford to be sick. Next week is my busy week and I need to be 100%. Anyway, it's been a pretty good birthday overall. Still want a GPS but who knows, maybe my fairy godmother will get it for me. --------------------------------------- Hi Guys, It's been a long time.
