Izmir,
Eric's Story
Life
I began working for the US Postal Service on September 20th, 1980; and I retired at the end of that month 30 years later, in 2010. I had a very nice time at the 1970-1980 reunion, last June 12th, and I got to see some old friends I had not seen in many, many years.
Home
In May of 1985 I bought my own house, just a few miles north of Grandview, and I still live in that house today.
Marital Status
I have still never been married, and I have no plans whatsoever to get marred (the "i" was left out deliberately).
If I ever DO get married, I want my marriage to only be with a true lady of God; Jesus Christ will be the Lord of our marriage.
I am a Christian, and I want my life to please God. I have whole-heartedly worshipped God for more than 30 years now.
Hobbies
My hobbies include photography, stereo and video, and I enjoy listening to most forms of music. I also like to sightsee, and to enjoy the sight of God's handiwork in nature. Winter is my favorite season, I love snow. Autumn is my second favorite, and Spring is my third. I don't like hot weather.

hing College
In 2003 I enrolled into the University of Phoenix, and I finished two years later with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. I am planning to use my degree in a new vocation.
Workplace
At the beginning of my career with the Postal Service, in September 1980, my shift began at 5PM and I often got off work at 3:30 AM. But as I slowly gained seniority, I was able to get earlier hours.
My specific jobs ranged from cancelling letters, in the beginning of my career, through dispatching trays of barcoded letters, until I was officially relocated into the new Kansas City Postal facility. I ended my career labeling letter trays, with barcoded letter-tray labels, so the labels on the letter trays can be read by the automated conveyor system.
I had enjoyed my career with the Postal Service, and I was given a lot of recognition, and a lot of honor, when I retired on October 1st, 2010.
I am presently taking it easy and enjoying my retirement, but I'm looking forward to a new vocation which I could use my Business Administration Bachelor's Degree in.
