More about Eric:"I am married 47 years to LaJeanne, the beautiful, wonderful, love of my life. We have three grown sons and a deceased daughter. There are now three granddaughters and a grandson.
We have lived in Maryland, North Carolina, Utah, Washington State, Florida and Kansas. LaJeanne and I are active Latter Day Saints and have been so for all of our adult lives.

participation in community projects particularly storm clean-up and relief efforts in Kansas, Florida and NC.
My wife is a practicing Registered Nurse and specializes in telemetry/cardiology in a step down hospital setting.
Our sons and their families are our chief interest and we treasure the time we spend together even though we are often far apart due to their careers. E-Mails and Blogs have helped us stay appraised of their challenges of daily living but nothing is as rewarding to us as spending time together and helping one another.
Boating and Marine issues remain an active interest for me as does the African American Experience and American History. Over the past several years I have become fascinated with the practice and issues relating to Adult Learning and higher education in general. My one regret is that I should have gotten interested earlier in my career
in adult education.
UPDATE:
After a 6 year battle with medistatic breast cancer we lost LaJeanne in 2017. We missed our 47th wedding anniversary by a couple of days. She left behind our 3 sons and 3 grandchildren and a loving lifetime of memories .
I recently remarried as I found loneliness unbearable as did the widow Virginia Hallford, Southern Belle, late of McKensey Alabama. We inherited 5 additional grandchildren and two additional 40 year old "kids".
End".
