Eric's Story
Life
I left Pensacola for Tallahassee in 1985 after graduating from PJC. I received my undergraduate degree in theatre from FSU in 1987, and graduated from law school in 1990. For 11 years I was an attorney with the state unemployment compensation program. Since August 2002 I have been an Assistant General Counsel with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, where I am a prosecutor for several of the professional Boards within the Department.
I founded a community theatre company in 1990 that is still going strong, and that's what I really enjoy. I usually direct 3 musicals each season, so I'm always in rehearsal or preparing to be. I serve on the board of directors of the Florida...Expand for more
Association of Community Theatres. So I actually use both my undergraduate and graduate degrees every day!
I'm single (darn it!); never married, but was engaged for 6 months many years ago. Came out in 1991, and am actively looking for Mr. Right. I am the parental figure for a large non-biological family of friends, who fill my life with love and craziness. I still have family in Pensacola, so I get over there about 4 times a year. My father remarried after my mother died of cancer in 1992, and my sister and her veterinarian husband have 2 kids who think Uncle Eric is great.
It's always made me a little sad that I wasn't in touch with more friends from high school, so feel free to drop me a line!
