On Monday, June 25, I learned that I finished first - with a monetary prize - in the Southwest Writers International bi-monthly competition. Winning entry was the first 500 words of "Skeletons and Angels," a short story I wrote 15 years ago starting with a young Jewish couple and their baby escaping from Nazi Germany by train. Now a screenplay of mine is in the finals, too. Winner TBA.
I' finished with the proofreader's notes for FORGIVENESS IN PLAIN ENGLISH, due out in September. I'm developing my web site(s) soon, too. I'll tell you the name(s) after I register it/them. The speaking to...Expand for more

Among many other things, I've been leading Introductions to The Landmark Forum - a transformational weekend program - for 3-1/2 years. It's a volunteer position that gives me a unique opportunity to make a difference in what people are dealing with...what really matters to them.
