Eric's Story
Life
some may have guessed that i
would end up here... not me.
after working at a sac area grocery
store ( 3 years on night
crew.. it was
fun), i got a wild hair and decided that
biology was more
interesting that throwing freight. that
hair led me to UCSD,
then biotech in the bay area, and
finally to nashville, (yeah,
TN) where i am getting my PhD in
molecular neuroscience
(4th year) . I
am studying how proteins interact
with other proteins ( the
identity of many of these proteins is...Expand for more
unknown and i am also
investigating that question) to control
the guidance of nerve
cells to their targets. does any one
remember me doing
anything like this? i have been
married for about 2 1/2 years
and we just had a daughter in
august. our first, unless you
count our 6 year old dog.. we count
her. i would love to hear
from anyone involved in or interested
in science or
volkswagens. i had a 56 oval window
with a million miles in
san diego. i have had a really cool 63
