Eric's Story
After Roosevely I went to Sarah Lawrence College and majored in Theater. I started working in rock and roll as a stage hand and stage manager for John Scher at the Capitol Theater in Passaic, NJ and Roosevelt (!) Stadium in Jersey City. If a band was on tour between 74 and 78 I worked them. At the same time I spent time acting and doing lights and or sets off-off Broadway (notably at La Mama ETC). I got into the Stage Hands Union (IATSE) as a b-card holder and worked at BAM for a couple of years.
While there I decided to try to start my own theater company and ended up joining forces with an existing troup and founded Aegis Universal Dance and Performance Group, Inc. (a 501 3c) We performed regularly in our basement space in SoHo and later in our attic space in Tribeca. Also did several seasons at the International Experimental Theatre Festival and a number of shows at The Open Space in Soho.

th the performing company I left BAM and went to The Brooklyn Children's Museum eventually becoming the Assistant Supervisor of Education.
From there I became interested in group systems development and went on to train as an organizational development consultant and as a psychotherapist. I'm still doing that work.
During that era and while i still had my performing company I met my first wife, Gina. We married in 1985, had a daughter in 1991. Divorced in 1994.
I moved to Connecticut where my daughter soon joined me. Met my current wife, Deb while here in CT. We've been married since 2000 - my daughter is a freshman in college - class of 2013.
In the meantime I went back for some further education and have been ordained as a non-denominational/interfaith Reverend.
I am deeply involved with an organization called Destination Imagination (idodi.org) our mission is to teach creativity, problem solving and teamwork.
