Eric's Story
Life
I live in Santa Cruz of all places just below Delaveaga Golf Course on the Eastside of Santa Cruz. I am married, my wife's name is Karlyn who has lived in Santa Cruz her entire life and graduated from Harbor High School. She went on to graduate from San Jose State with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. I have a son named Kirby who was born in 1998, and a daughter named Taylin born in 2000. I coach soccer and softball. My family spends quite a bit of time in Lake Tahoe skiing and playing.
College

brillo College with an Associate of Science degree in Fire Protection Technology. I then went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Studies and a Masters Degree in Emergency Services Administration from CSU Long Beach.
Workplace
I retired from the Santa Cruz Fire Department in 2014 after 31 years of service. I currently provide teaching and consulting services in emergency or disaster management. I also volunteer to community organizations, one being the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
