Eric's Story
School
My biggest crush was this girl named Sandy Smith. I think my principle inspired me the most on visions of who I wanted to be. Yes, I would do it all over again. Some of the girls I dated I shouldn't had broken up with. I should have proceeded in pursuing the ones I did like. Studied more and kept my face in those books. And not let fun interfer with my school work.
College
I don't have a roommate or go to school full time. I go to school part time. I take two ten week courses in one semester. You wouldn't know how stressful that is until you did one ten week course. But, I go to school at Northern Virginia Community College on the marine base Quantico. They offer military free education. Why not take advantage of it. I going for my associates in general studies so I can get the feel of school again. Since I've been out of school for four years. Then I'm headed to work on my bachelors in architecture.
Workplace

stressful job. I'm like an automoble and trucks mechanic, a truck driver and an aircraft refueler. This all military related work that I do on a day to day basis. Basically I get down and dirty. I know all the odds and ends, troubleshoot a mechanism that doesnt'work, and a lot of other outragous things you rarely do in the civilian world.
Military
I went to boot camp two weeks after I finished high school. It was a big culture shock, from seeing everything to just green and black uniforms. I graduated boot camp at the end of August. Then went to MCT (marine combact traing) for two weeks. After I graduated from MCT. I went straight to MOS school to learn my job in the marines. I made it to the fleet in November of 2001. On Nov. 23 I found myself at my first duty station in 29 palms. During the time I was there I did a tour in Iraq from Jan. 2004 to Sept. 2004. The I PCSed to Quantico, Virginia. Where I'm currently stationed to this day.
