Eric's Story

Life Still on the grind, though a little slower now. Family has increased by one, so we have two awesome children! After an eight year hiatus, we have finally returned to the good old continental United States. Trying to figure out the next chapter in this thing called life, after 22 years I am now a lot closer to the end of this military career than the beginning. It's been a great ride, perhaps one year I'll actually make it back for a reunion. Until then, stay blessed and be happy. College The college years went by way too fast! Four years on the Hill [FAMU] have led to a host of memories. I didn't really see much of the SET until my last semester there as I was working a host of jobs and active very active at the Baptist Atudent Union and the Semper Fi society. Life wasn't all work though, as I made some really good friends that led to a host of adventures that I'll plead the fith on! I'll always be a proud Rattler until the day I die, but now I am also a SOONER, I received my Masterr's from the University of Oklahoma, in 2003. Grad school was intense, but rewarding, perhaps I'll make it back to school again, but perferrably on someone else's dime! Update--Back in school one more time! Workplace Let's see, high school was 40-50 hour work weeks at Pic 'N Slave Drugs. From there it's been the Corps and some side gigs that I did to keep my head above water while I was in college. Fast food went by fast [thankfully] Hardees, and Pizza Hut delivery-Sears, the unemployment office, Winn Dixie [now that's a memory, south Side Winn Dixie and the Tennesse Publix, great places to be] internships and the of course the reserves! Time in high school was a speed bump in life that I wish I had taken the time to slow down for, but work and school will always be filled with fun memories of some great people.
