Erich's Story
I had to say "Hi" to y'all from my days in Childress, Amarillo and Austin. Even though I went on to become an Amarillo High Sandie from Childress High, I consider myself part Bobcat too- a lot of y'all were a part of my formative years.
After Childress went to Amarillo High, Univ. of Texas at Austin (undergrad), Texas State (grad school). Divorced. No kiddos. Jobs: RN, Pharmaceutical sales.
Now live in Dallas. Hobbies: still love bodybuilding & I enjoy investing/portfolio management (for myself, my mother & my siblings).
Last "real" vacation (5/08):
I was watching my beloved Dodgers. And I got the full L.A. treatment: 1st off, I was driving on the famous Mulholland Drive where you can see the awesome views of both the Los Angeles basin and the San Fernando Valley via the Hollywood Hills and the Santa...Expand for more
Monica Mountains(not to mention the gorgeous homes of movie stars)and this car starts driving right on my bumper. I am getting really mad and I confront this crazy nut at the next stop light. He then apologizes for this and says, in a French accent, he is a member of the paparazzi and is on a chase (he did have a huge camera). My thought: so, what? Stop caring so much about a picture and start worrying about the lives of people on the road (especially mine). Now I see firsthand how intrusive they are in the lives of celebrities!
Then, as I went back to my hotel that night in Pasadena, the mountain next to my hotel was on fire. The mountain!
Anyway, the bottom line is that I got the full southern California experience and the Dodgers did sweep a 3 game series against the defending N.L. champs :-)
