Erik's Story
Wow! I finally paid the money and boy was it worth it!!! I managed to re-connect with old friends, and even family. I'm living in Long Beach California, trying to keep my head above water - so to speak. I live at the "Villages at Cabrillo" - a Veteran's complex that specializes in affordable housing and caring for the needs of those of us who served. I like it here, very nice and the people are great.
I look back at high school and it really seems like just yesterday, and I remember also, that back then, if someone had mentioned how time passed so quickly, you know - cherish the memories, yadda yadda - blah blah, well guess what??? it's all true!! thankfully - my high school experience was rather enjoyable - even if...Expand for more
it was tough without any family - (thanks saunders montague at Western Academy) - since then -- I've gone to so many different places - from the Marine Corps (ooh rah) to various schools, Job Corps, 1 failed marriage, a son born in 1984, who I haven't seen since 1987,and more ups and downs than a roller coaster ride! Now things are leveled off, which used to be synanamous with boring when I was younger, something I couldn't stand to think of becoming... but now, (hindsight 20-20) It's a place I wish I had sought after long ago, but you live and learn, ya know? So thanks Agua Fria, I look back with very fond memories, and to all I had the chance to connect with - good lookin out! thanks for stopping by, and God Bless
