Erika's Story
Life
Hey everyone! Not much has happened since graduation. For two years I was a part of Boise Service Corps AmeriCorps, which is now Lewis Clark Service Corps AmeriCorps =) I went out into the Boise Schools and helped children with their reading. I enjoyed this so much! To see children become excited after they finished a story or read a difficult word felt so great!
After I finished my service, I enrolled at BSU, where I am currently seeking my A.A in general studies. I should be finished with it by the end of next year. My initial thought going into BSU, was to obtain my degree in Elementary Education. However, with all the other fields I am interested in, I'm having a hard time deciding.

ices Board. I helped coordinate and took part in Service Saturdays. I would also coordinate events specific to my title. I loved doing this! Seeing students come together and give back to the community was fantastic! This is something I miss and I hope to volunteer again in the future!
This year I bought a puppy! Her name is Mya and I love her to pieces! She is a 9 month old Rat Terrier. She is white with fawn colored markings. Mya is the most animated dog I've owned. She loves to play with her food or treats by tossing them up in the air and hiding them from herself under blankets. I am so happy to have her in my life!
My family is doing great! All of us still live in Boise,ID. Imagine that! Really, Boise is a spectacular city and I plan on staying here for the time being.
