Otherwise, here's a brief summary since I left La Reina:
went to Calabasas High for my senior year, did very well in policy debate, and got a scholarship to Baylor University for it. Went to Baylor in Waco, TX for a year and half, competed nationally on thier policy debate team. I met the love of my life a year after I left Texas, and started dating him in 2002, got married to him 5/5/2006. He is my best friend, and my marriage is better than I ever thought it could be.
After I left Baylor, I went back to school at Moorpark, and discovered philosophy, and became enamored with classical Greek philosophy, so I went to UCLA for it, and graduated in June 2008 with a bachelors in philosophy and a speci...Expand for more
alization in Greek and in classics. Only took me 10 years, but I finally graduated college! I fell just short (a tenth of a grade point) of my goal: graduating cum laude. But I learned ancient Greek, had the most amazing professors and philosophy department, and really, really enjoyed it!
I've been working in human resources and benefits administration now for 8 years. I love it, and although I still want to go to law school eventually, I'm staying in HR for now.
We want kids, but havent decided which comes first: kids or law school-- but I refuse to give up on either!!
We moved to Santa Barbara in September 2009 so that My husband Mike, could finish his degrees at UCSB. I love it up here!
I am 180 degrees different than I was in high school, and am very happy with that.
