Erin's Story
I am currently teaching math at Roanoke Catholic School and Hollins University. I graduated from VA Tech in 1997, did a year of graduate work, then started teaching at the Roanoke Valley Governor's School in the fall of 1998. I taught there for 8 years before taking a position at North Cross that allowed me to have more time at home with my family. My husband's name is Chris--we got married on October 6, 2001, after dating for 3 1/2 years. Chris is a police officer for Roanoke City. Our son, Joshua Ryan, was born in July, 2004 (3 months early). After a rough start in the NICU at Community Hospital, he's doing wonderfully. Kayleigh Elayne followed 3 years later (full term this time!) in the summer of 2007. We live in Boones Mill with our dog Ellie Mae.
