Erin's Story
Life
Since graduation I worked in the Sacramento area for 6 years, at two different newspapers, doing layout and ad design. I left there and moved to Reno to be closer to my sister who was living there at that time. I worked for 6 years at the Silver Legacy in the High Limit slot area serving drinks. I had a lot of fun working there, but I also made a came to understand that the majority of people I catered to had major problems with addiction of all sorts. 6 years there was definitely enough!
I returned to California in 2001, and my brother taught me how to drive a semi, so off I went for the next 8 months driving loads across the country. This was a great job with many freedoms, but you have to enjoy your "alone time". After 8 months of driving, I was offered a position in management for the company that I worked for. 30 drivers. The relationship that I was involved in came to an end during this time so I started internet dating since Willows is a very small town with a very limited supply of eligible men. While corresponding with others seeking to find love, I met the wonderful man I would marry. He was living in Santa Rosa where he was born, but he had gotten is degree from Chico State, and lived there for 20 years before returning to Santa Rosa. I relocated to Santa Rosa 2 months before our wedding. We've been happily married since June 2003. In September 2005, we moved from Santa Rosa, CA to Discovery Bay, CA because my husband's company closed in Santa Rosa and they offered him a position in Livermore and paid all relocation expenses. I love it here! We have a waterfront home with the Delta as our backyard.
Well, that's the summed up version of life since high school. Who knows where the future will take us from here....But I'm sure it will be fun!
