Erlinda's Story
I have six children, One who grauated from Garfield, played football in the varsity team, was in Escalante class and went to UCLA, My son now owns his company and I am very proud of my son. I have three adult daughters and three adult sons married and have children. I married my first love and divoced him after six years of marriage, then stayed single for another five years and married again only to divorced again after 25 years of marriage.
I currenly work full time as a Case Manager in West Covina. I was a stay home wife and raised my children then went to work once I became single to support my children. I was very quite when I attended school due to issues while growing up, I am free of many demons that kept me from growing and now continue to enjoy life getting involed with helping...Expand for more
the needs of women issues, I had been involed in working with woman addited to drugs and became a volunteer for a substance abuse home in the early 90's and later to work with woman who were abused by their partner. I now work with the homeless population and plan to work with Domestic Violence programs again maybe starting a support group for woman, I currenly attend Church which gives me peace, joy and strength to deal with the problems of life, I injoy walking, movies, traveling here in California driving thru the coast, I love the beach just sitting and enjoying music, I love to meet with friends and enjoy their company playing card games, eating dinner or talking. I love spending time with my grandchildren, mostly boys and now have two great grandchildren, Girls!!!
