Ernest's Story
Hi folks, trying to connect with my past.
After graduation, I attended Yancy State Jr College (name changed later) for two years then three at Auburn while also working work/study with the Air Force at Eglin AFB. Graduated in ‘71 with a degree in Math (and Economics but Auburn would not allow double majors). Worked at Eglin until 1981 when I got a promotion to work at Langley AFB in Virginia to work on several black programs. In 1988, we moved back to Eglin AFB for three years and then to NATO (Netherlands)...Expand for more
in 1991 as a combined Military analyst/diplomat and a few years in counter intelligence. In 1999 left NATO for San Diego to work on Naval communications and command and control (C4ISR) and then Anti-submarine Warfare. Retired from US Civil Service as a GS15 and then retired from from work in 2013. Now living in Sedona AZ as a lizard in the red rocks. Write me if you remember me (or even if you don’t…I blended into the woodwork pretty well when I was young).
