Ernest's Story
My story is a simple one. After high school I joined the military. Shortly after completing my military obligations I married my High School classmate Beatrice (Tate) Williams. We lived in Texas. I have enjoyed a successful career as both a Staff and Independant Insurance Adjuster handling commercial disaster losses, This also afforded my wife and I an opportunity to travel experiance life in other areas of the country. My wife and I have returned to Texas and now enjoying life with our Adult children & Grandkids ranging from college to elemenary. My wife and I are retired and residing in Houston, Texas. My wife Beatrce, has had multible careers, 1st as a Mother and home maker, 2nd as a account and Leasing agent for Texas Instruments, retired from this job and started a 3rd carreer as a Tax preparer for H&R Block and later Office manager over 10 locations. As if that was not enough she started a 4th occupation as my office manager and bookkeeper. My wife proved far more versital then me. I had 1 career Insurance Adjuster.
Dispite her various careers my wife seemed to enjoy one thing better than work and that was travel,...Expand for more
entertainment and sunshine. After reviewing all the places we stayed she appeared to like Lake Mary, Fl. the best. Miami, Fl 2nd. Afer the Death of our Son Ernest John Williams Jr.,
This poem gave us closeure:
AN ANGEL NEVER DIES
Don't let them say i was never born,
that something stopped my heart,
i felt each tender squeeze you gave,
i loved you from the start,
although my body you can't hold,
it doesnt mean im gone,
this world was worthy not of me,
god chose that i move on,
i know the pain that drowns your soul,
what you are forced to face,
you have my word, i'll fill your arms,
someday we will embrace,
you'll hear that it was 'meant to be,
god doesn't make mistakes, '
but that wont soften your worst blow,
or make your heart not ache,
i'm watching over all you do,
another child you'll bare,
believe me when i say to you,
that i am always there,
there will come a time i promise you,
when you will hold my hand,
stroke my face, and kiss my lips,
and you'll understand,
although i've never breathed your air,
or gazed into your eyes,
that doens't mean i never 'was, '
