Ernie's Story

Life Born near Denver in Colorado, I grew up in the Sacramento Valley in the late 50s early 60s. After graduation from James Marshall High, I joined the Navy in 1962 and spent 12 years of my life persuing a goal that was not meant to be. I got out of the Navy and went to College majoring in Business. I joined Wells Fargo Bank securing a position of Operations Trainee. Became an Operations Officer then Asst. Manager of a full service commercial bank at the Sunrise Mall in Sacramento. Transferred to various offices in the valley and finally after eleven years in the banking industry, I left the banking business to persue a lucrative position in the insurance industry. egion of PennCorp Financial, the mother company of Pennsylvania Life Insurance overseeing the activities of 35 offices in 6 western states. After 4 years at this, in 1987, I decided to uproot my family from the LA Basin and move back to the state where it all began, Colorado. My wife Rosie and I have been married 32 years now, have 5 grown children, two live in Sacramento/Davis area and three live here in Colorado; 4 grandshildren. We own our own business on the Western Slope of the Colorado Rockies; Clifton, Colorado. Yes, I attended the 40th class reunion in Sacramento and plan to attend the next if it is God's will.
