Ernie's Story
Life
Can it be true? Are we actually ancient history? So be it, here is my version... I married my high school sweetheart, Leslie Callahan. We lived in Baltimore after my tour with the USMC. I worked in the auto business and Leslie worke for Md. National Bank until we move to Atlanta in 74. I worked as a recruiter at Atlanta College with our buddy Kerry Orr until 77 when I somehow got into acting.
I lost Leslie to cancer in 79 and ran away to California. I remarried a beautiful southern girl "Elain" and am now the father of 5. I have one grandson and another on the way. And I love it.
In the actors union only 1 person can use a name and believe it or not there were 3 Ernie Browns using all of the variations in spelling... So I took my wife's name "Lively". I am now Ernie Lively. (I was going to use Lovely but after looking in the mirror...)
For the last 25 years I have worked as a actor, producer and writer. I am a partner in a Film and...Expand for more
Television Production Studio in Los Angeles and play in a lot of golf tournaments and fish in Mexico and hunt all over.
I loved Patapsco and my time there and often think fondly of my old friends. We had the cutest girls and the coolest guys around. I am actually writing a script loosely based on our years called "The Patriot" -refering to our yearbook.
Who knows maybe our class will be celebrated yet!
If anyone would like to check up on what I've done in Hollywood feel free to go to enter my name in any search engine and you'll find something. If you happen to see me doing something on screen that looks vaguely familiar don't be too critical, I might be imitating you... you know all of our performances are based on people we know!
PS Please look for my new film I have produced called Simon Says, starring Crispin Glover.
Oct 11 get Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants ---a great movie and and my daughter and I could use the 16 cents.
