Erwin's Story
After graduating Lafayette in 1964, I attended the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. Upon graduation in 1968, I realized that I still had that old phobia about crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, and so I stayed on at Brooklyn Poly for an extra two degrees. ach today in the same building I took classes in in 1964. I have not even changed my major --- which is still Mathematics.
I was married in 1968 and at age 50 I became a father. I promised my daughter that I wouldn't consider retirement 'till she graduated from college --- something she did with apparent ease.
I now get to think about the "R" word. I'm not quite there yet, but "getting very close."
I find it incredible that we graduated from high school 55 years ago.
