Eugene's Story
I went to St. Clemens for 10 years and in my Junior year went to Center Line High for more college prep classes.
After High School I went to MCCC for 1.5 yrs then became a Detroit Police Officer. Had a successful career and even arrested Leon Sphinx. My last part there was in accident investigation when I sustain a back injury. Before the injury I married Maggie and had 2 great sons, Ben & Tim. After 3 years of surgery and therapy I took a duty retirement and went to Cadillac, MI. There I was a Real Estate Agent for 10 years and then open my own brokerage, Greenridge Realty Pioneer LLC and have been here for over 12 years now. Selling Real Estate for 23 years I have been successful and have helped many a family find or sell their home. I am current married to Janis who owns Janis' Flowers and Gifts. We live on Rose Lake with my Jack Russell terrier, Brandy. We also often watch my Grandson Connor that Ben and Tara had. He is 2.75 years old and enjoy being a parent all over again.
When ever you are in Northern MI stop by my office at 727 S. Mitchell St. Cadillac, MI 49601.
Love to reminisce about by gone days.
Take care,
Eugene
Since my initial post all is going well with us. We...Expand for more
, Janis and I, moved to Rose Lake in the Leroy, MI area and have a nice waterfront home to enjoy the seasons. I did though get a rare disease call Carcinoid Syndrome in 1996 which was treated for several years. in 2014 I needed and obtained a liver transplant that went well except for the months in hospital. I now fully recovered from the transplant and follow up surgeries but do not have the strength that I had pre-surgery. I lost a bunch of weight and now have the same internal chemistry that I had when I was 25 years old. I do not have the energy to keep active in Real Estate sales but am doing well as a Mobile Notary Closer for refinance companies.
We lost Mom in Aug 2015 and I had to put to sleep a very good Jack Russell dog, Brandy, that we miss dearly.
So all in all I cannot complain about my life and successes. I think of days gone by and remember a lot of good times spending in St. Clements and wish I would have kept up with my friends I had there. I know some of them have passed but hope you all are in good health and life gave you many rewards.
Well time to get to other things to do. I keep busy and hope to be around for many years to come.
Talk to you soon,
Eugene
