Life
I have given up teaching and now work in one of Connecticut's two casinos. NO STRESS and GREAT BENEFITS !!!!! Two out of my four children are married...all are college grads and support themselves (lol). The newest addition to our little family (not counting my husband of 2 years) was born last week to one of my daughters and her husband...cannot wait to see her as soon as I can arrange some time off from work...we finally have a grandchild and I am estatic!!!...working through restrengthening my heart after a quintuple bypass a few years back...its slow going, but I am determined to beat this and also the diabetes I recently found out that I have.

We now live in tropical sunshiney/thunderstormy Florida,about 15 min. from our two gorgeous grand-daughters and our daughter and son-in-law, 75 min away from our youngest daughter & son-in-law, with our son, and 1529 miles from our oldest daught...Expand for more
er, still in New Haven...we're working on her to come on down! but a fantastic job and great salary at Yale tells me no...hahahahaha!!!!!
I am between jobs at the moment (oh darn...heh heh heh) and spending a lot of time playing with the babies (3 yrs and 21 months, respectively).
Still working on losing the last 40 lb so I can get the diabetes and heart stuff in line.

Fast Forward to 2018: Hubby Daniel and I are retired and love it!!! Grand-daughters include:
sisters Juliana (13) & Jalah (almost 12) here in FL; sisters Ashleigh (10) & Caleigh (8) in Washington state; and Charlotte (almost 4) also in FL.. Grandchildren are absolutely THE BEST!!! We enjoy traveling around the state with our FL grands and will be with our West Coast grands next summer when they come here in July, and then again when we go to them between Thanksgiving and Christmas!!
