Eva's Story
Life
I attended Lexington grade school in the Santa Cruz Mountains and then Los Gatos High for one year. We moved to Redding at my sophmore year where I attended Shasta High School for my last 3 years of high school. I have 5 sons the oldest is 27 and others 22, 21, and 18 year old twins. Joe (22) is a medic in the Army National guard in who just completed his first tour in Iraq. Timothy (21) is in the Army currently in Iraq as a Combat Engineer.He is my only married son at this time. He will return to Germany in November 2006.
Robert and Thomas are 18 and graduated and are in the Army National guard also. The attended Boot camp last summer and will are now attending their advanced training . They are all grown and will be men soon. I am looking forward to some peace and quiet. The children never leave your mind but they CAN leave the home. As a mother I will always worry I know. But it's all good.
I retired from the Military in July of 2003. I am a Director with Mary Kay cosmetics and love every minute of it. I just earned my first FREE car. A 2005 red hot Pontiac Vibe. Many years ago I started my own Karaoke business. I love to sing and just do group parties now and then. 3 yea...Expand for more
rs ago I stepped into Childrens entertainment. Yes,, you can call me a clown but I do many other things too with that business.. It's what I do on the weekends.

Military
I joined the Army National guard in 1975 while I was attending Shasta High School. I left for Ft Jackson South Carolina the same month I graduated. June of 1976. I was in the 126th Medivac Co out of Sacramento. I transfered to the 146th Cbt Spt Hosp soon after returning from Medic training. In 1982 I became a full time recruiter with the guard and remained in the possition for 22 years. Starting in Susanville with the 132nd Engrs and in 1984 going back to Redding to recruit for 4 years. Then going to Fairfield to work in a new armory following that in 2 years to Richmond to work with the 143rd Field Artillary unit. After two years in wonderful Richmond ( living in Novato) I transfered to San Francisco where I supported the 223rd Military Intel unit and the 146th CSH. In 1999 I transfered to Sacramento to work in Recruiting HQ where I was an interstate Transfer NCO, IST NCO and a Training NCO. I enjoyed every minute of my military career.
