Hi, everyone! Well, I've lived in Mesquite with my husband, Randy, for 37 years. I met him at Eastfield College right out of High School, but I made him wait three years while I went to school before marrying him (poor guy really loved me to stick around so long).. I have three children and its hard to admit that Abrea is 32, Atira is 29, and Andon is 25. I also have two grandchildren; Dylan is 13 and Breanna is 11. Boy, that makes me feel old, but I love them all. My life has been full of changes. I've been a registered Medical Technologist (sounds great, but paid loisy), a school teacher in a private school teaching 7th and 8th graders all subjects (I never worked so hard in my life to keep up with all the subject matter), a real estate investor ( made the mistake of trying to have rental properties instead of buying and selling), 22 years as an antique dealer and appraiser, a designer and showroom manager for several showrooms at the Dallas World Trade Center (I'm still doing that), and for the last 8 years I've owned a resale shop, Abatan Antiques, In Canton, Tx. during the monthly Trade Days Flee Market.
