Eva's Story

I married in 1965, have 3 children, 11 grandchildren,4 great grandchildren. Husband, 1st child & I moved to Mabank where we bought 10 acres of land out side city limits. We had 2 more children. I was a stay-at-home mom until my last child was 10. I went to work in a video store. On June 29 1990 I was electrocuted. I was in Parkland's burn unit for 5 mounths (which is, in my opinion, 1 of the best burn units in the nation). I was left paraplegic. I came home on November 20. In 1991 I was divorced. I continued to live in Mabank with my son,who was 15. He went to live with his Dad the next year. I did alot of volunteer work at nursine facilities where mt daughters worked....Expand for more
In 2003 I sold the place in Mabank and moved to Kaufman where my children lived. I had not "worked" in 19 years, when the administrator from one of the nursing facilities came to me and ask if I would be interested in working for them. I am now the receptionist at Carrollton Nursing & Rehab. Tell me that God didn't have His hand in it. The reason I joined Classmates was in hopes someone would see me and remember something about me. When I had my accident I lost alot of my memory.Hope somebody can help me out. I went to Harold Budd and Boude Storey. I have had a lot of people view my story but only 1 person seens to remember me at all. sure hope somebody can help me.
