Eve's Story
I am living in Lehigh Acres, FL. After 37 years with the Fed Govt, I retired and am now working parttime at a call center..
I planned to go to college, but I was hired by the postal service and worked there for 24 years in MI & FL. I briefly married Greg Weddle and have a daughter named Buffy,
I was the married to Mike Elliott for 35 years until his death. We had Corleen, Melissa and Michael.
Mike was a plumber and I worked for the USPS, so we moved to FL in the '80s.
I worked in 23 offices as a carrier, clerk and supervisor in FL. I left to work for the American Red Cross as a tri-county coor...Expand for more
dinator in MI. Next I worked for the United States Air Force as a recruiting secretary. I finally retired from USDA/ Farm Service Agency as a farm loan program technician.
I moved back to FL when my 15 yr old grandson died in a gun accident. I bounced around from child to child for three years then met my chair weaving teacher. We lived together for a year. I have learned how to repair, recane and re-rush old chairs. I am now a WEAVER and teach palm frond weaving baskets.
I am writing a series of bead mystery novels. I play the Dulcimer. Have a tropical garden with gingers, palms and orchids.
