I never much cared in school what anyone thought of me. I still don't. I have never lived my life for any ones approval. People only see what they want to anyway. It took going to another school for anyone to see that there was more to me than hair. Yes I was smart. No good memories as a Riverview High student. Only as a Lincoln Park student. Where there the teachers actually noticed I had a brain. They just wondered how all the teachers there had missed it. I guess everyone learned there self judgments from the top banana's. A school where having money meant more than having a education. I am happy in life now. I work at at a local Meijer as a grocery stock-er. I have small farm in the country. I see nature at its best everyday of my life. I wouldn't change that for anything. My thanks to the teachers in Lincoln Park for making me feel welcome. You made me feel wanted. Thank you all. I was happily Married for 33 years had 3 children when my husband passed away. I stayed in my home for another 11 years 10 of those working. I retire...Expand for more
