Life
Worked for Mutual of New York Life Insurance Company for 24 1/2 years, and transferred all over the country and Puerto Rico. While working in PR, I met Richard Smith, a pilot from western Pa,and married him in 1976. After my career with MONY, I started an in-house Travel Agency, specializing in travel to Central and South America. With all the changes with the airline industry, and Richard upgrading to the Boeing 767 and flying to Europe, I decided to call it quits, and become a full-time domestic enginee...Expand for more
r. He retired from UsAirways 2 1/2 years ago. We live on the Caloosahatchee River in Alva, Florida, which is just east of Ft. Myers.
No children, just a 3 1/2 pound Yorkie, named Taylor Snuffy Smith.
With the drug problems in Mexico, and not being able to sell our house here in Florida, we've decided to stay here.
Both of us have become active in our parish, and I will be taking over as the President of our local St. Vincent de Paul council, and as you know, the need to help the poor is overwhelming at times.
