Evelyn's Story
Life
I taught mathematics at Dublin High and Pulaski County High for 30 years. Retired in June,2000 and moved to NC. I am helping Ralph with our business in Lexington, NC. The most exciting thing now is we are building an airplane.It is a RV-7A and will cruise at 200 mph. We are about 95% finished. It has been inspected by the FAA and we are flying it now. The number is N709RE. Sure have used my math in this endeavor!!If you think you are going to have time when you retire, forget it. You will be so busy you will not be able to figure how you had time to work. We have some old cars to restore but figure we can do that when we are so old we will be in wheelchairs!!! Life is good!!!

ore paint on it although we are polishing a lot of it. We will get the leg fairings and wheel pants on it sometime, but we have just been having fun flying it.
We enjoyed visiting the airport at the Wright Brothers Memorial this fall. It was fun flying our "homebuilt" plane into that field where the first "homebuilt" plane flew and began all of aviation as we know it.
