Everette's Story

I have been blessed thru life with good friends and good health. I am a retired teamster having been retired for over 9yrs. Retirement is great! My main concerns now are helping my wife, who still works, transporting Shrine Children to and from the Shrine Hospitals in Lexington and Cincinnati. In the spring and summer we do car shows , just a big kid playing with cars. I am a member of MID-TENN AACA,which is a car club. We have 3 Trans Ams,2 1975s,and a 1999, we also have 2 Monte Carlo ss cars, a 2003 Jeff Gordon Special Edition and a 1984,plus a 1989 and 1995 Cor...Expand for more
vette converts and a 2005 Mustange. The cars are a lot of fun,but require lots of time,I also am a member of the AMERICAN LEGION POST 129 in Gainesboro where I am Adjutant. Dale Smith and I are the Jackson County representatives on the Veterans Cemetery Committee. The goal of the committee is to have a Veterans Cemetery for the 14 county area of the upper Cumberland. I volunteer once a month at the Granville Car Museum on Wednesday afternoons The only pets we have are 2 dogs, they seem happy and we try to keep them that way. Again I am truly Blessed. EV
