Evita's Story

The biggest surprise in my life has been having children. My husband and I tried to conceive for ten years. We were convinced that we could not have them. We went to several fertility specialists. It turns out that I could get pregnant but could not stay pregnant. I had several miscarriages. Our doctor told me that I had a better chance of being hit my lightening than having a baby. ed but decided to adopt. We were joyful about having a baby in our home no matter where the child came from. Two years after we were approved as a adoptive family I got pregnant. I was forty years old and we were amazed! That surprise was our daughter Avery who is now five years old. Three years and two days later I gave birth to my son David, now two years old. Looks like lightening can strike twice!
