I'm getting ready to cancel my membership for this site so I thought I'd do a quick update before I go. I'm still feeding the birds & squirrels in my backyard. Have a couple of baby woodpeckers & two baby cardinals this year - very sweet. I'm also still rescuing animals - a rat snake the other day and a dog currently asleep in my kitchen. I haven't done as much travelling as I had hoped to. i went to Vermont in January for a month & ended up coming back after 2 weeks with a broken leg! I slipped on some ice and, according to my friends, did a spectacular aerial maneuver resulting in a break above my right ankle. As I told someone recently, I have to laugh looking back because I was scooting on my backside across the ice trying not to slide down the hill. A truly epic journey just to get in my friend's car. Obviously I am still the graceful, gazelle like girl I was in high school - LOL!! I did get to go to Pebble Be...Expand for more
