Faye's Story
Life
I was Faye Sowle. I have one daughter, one son, and two grandsons.
I'm doing fine myself, after a 35-year career at The Boeing Company as art director/graphic designer. Retired to Montana.
Lots of travel in my past, along with an interest in many cultures of the world. In high school I studied Spanish and in junior college, some German. Later, some French as well. I've traveled twice to India, twice to China, Cuba, many times to Europe, in 1992 to the Czech Republic to watch my son sing in a choir on tour there, and even to Poland just before the Berlin wall came down in 1989 and again in 1999. bulous and my Spanish was understood. Though I don't speak Portugese, I was starting to get the hang of it. I also visited an exchange student from Germany in 1987. We were at my nephew's wedding in France and so kept traveling around for awhile.
I've enjoyed sweep rowing in the past, and other interests include salsa dancing (well any dancing, really) reading, art, crafts, and art collecting, hiking, hotsprings soaking, skiing, and travel.
I get down to the Bay Area annually and would enjoy reconnecting with school friends. I've enjoyed watching the list of early (1963-1965) Sharks grow. So many names, yet so few with photos and bios; we should really talk more, compare notes!
