Felicia's Story
Sorry, I should have graduated in '81 but things got a little crazy so I got married to Randy Hlavaty,and had a beautiful baby girl in Aug. of that year. 81, then had a beautiful baby boy in Jan.of 83. he was 2 and 1/2 months early. We moved to Dallas the end of 83. I really think that was the biggest thing to adapt to. All my family was still in Magnolia. I went back to school in 85 and finished high school. All and all ,I know now that life is, by no means , a bed of roses !!! We went through just about everything any couple goes through,oh, this is not bragging, its wishing things would have been different. I wonder all the time, what if I wouldn't have moved to Dallas. Life has been so hard,that you really appreciate when things turn out right. I treasure my friends ,you know, the really true friends,the ones that don'...Expand for more
t care if you're not perfect,and believe me, I would never claim to be.I try not to take people for granted,they are here one day and gone the next, then its too late . My dad,Tommy, was diagnosed with cancer in Oct.1995 .In Dec.1995 ,we adopted our miracle baby.My dad past away in Jan.96 just two days after his birthday and one day after our baby turned a month old. That was the most heart breaking time I've ever dealt with. Both my two oldest, Kristin and Randy Jr. , graduated in 1999 and 2001. Both have wonderful spouses and both have two beautiful little girls. As for our miracle baby, hes now 14 and going into high school this year. Randy is on a liver transplant list and has been for the last four years and me, well I work in the hospital as a pharmacy tech. After all that, I am a mom, a Nana and just plain old me !!!
