Fern's Story
After wandering all over most of the central part of the United States, including North Carolina, I am now settled in Arkansas. I have worked for the past 43 years as a nurse. I had remarried after moving here but my husband passed away 3 years ago. I have a great fellow in my life again now. I have 3 cats, all rescues. yard. My son and his wife have recently moved to this area and live off-grid. My grandson is in the Army at Fort Hood. This area is very beautiful, in the Ozarks, so I have had the opportunity to learn to Kayak, hike and ride my bicycle. I am blessed with many new adventures and family.
PS: I love to play Words with Friends on my computer! After a 6 month search in the area, I am now employed. Yehaa! I work as a weekend supervisor at a nursing home and rehab center. Thank God for many blessings.
