Fernando's Story
I was an exchange student in NHS sponsored by Rotary Club in Nampa, I lived at Charles Mattson home fo a full year while my stay in Nampa.
Afterwards I went back to the US and went to BSU for a couple of years, then I ended up studying opticianry at a votech institue in Boise. I have been in the prescription glass making trade for 33 years now.
I am happily married an have four kids. The oldest one is 28 and he lives and works in Washington DC. he is an optometrist, my daughter(26 my second child) lives and works in Peoria IL, she is an Industrial Engineer doing r...Expand for more
eseach work for Caterpillar. My third child went to high school for a year and then went to Eau Claire University in Wisconsin. He decided that he did not like the US. and now he is going to school in Chile. My fourth kid is still living at home, he is only 15. Currently we are hosting an exchange student from Northfield Il for a year as well. I do not have pictures of myself from the good old days, but you can look up on THE SAGE class of 72. I would love to hear from any of you guys (The ones that remember me) and maybe even we could arrange to meet some time. Bye
