High School was the best time ever! The education was boring AF, but I did learn a lot from Mr Everett in Business class and I loved all the extra-curriculars - working in the Business Practice Office, singing in The Generics (RIP Mr Love) and performing at all the school concerts, Cheerleading with Rita Gaudry, Leapfrogging up Yonge Street, Yearbook Committee with Amy Wong and co-founding the first GHCI Fashion Show with Indra Bharat that went on for many years after. I did take some university courses later in life, but my interests are in spirituality and past lives, so I redirected and got a certification in hypnosis and past life regression, lol. During HS, I worked at McDonald's on Ingram and then Thrifty's (Blue Notes) at Yorkdale. Right after HS, I worked for the General Manager of Star Slipper - a shoe company - women's dream job, right? Well, it didn't turn out to be the dream I had hoped for (lol), so I moved into the hydro electric industry for 18 years and ran a part-time wedding business for 10 years on the side (lol), but gave that up when I had my first daughter in 1998 (all natural, no epidural, both children actually - 100% true!).
