Finis's Story

Life After high school I became engaged to Melissa Pickett after our son was born in 1992. We split up in 93. Since our split up I have not seen my son, mostly my bad. After that I bounced around Casper going from restaurant to restaurant working as a cook. Around the end of July 94 I moved to Rapid City, South Dakota with Laura Steele.Rapid City is where I learned to bartend while working at Apple bee's. After 2 years I got restless and followed my buddy Martin Lambert to Las Vegas. I stayed in Vegas for about 8 months and hit what I thought was an all time low in my life. I made a phone call home and my dad arranged transportation for me with a buddy of his who had been visiting his in Vages. I stayed home for about three months recuperating and then I was off to Rapid City again and went back to work at Apple bees. In ealry November of 97 I was fired. or a new job in a different field I joined the Navy. I left for boot camp Nov 25 1997. After boot camp I went to fire fighting school. Upon completion of school I was off to Italy for my first tour of duty on board the USS La Salle. In 2001 I met my first wife Melissa D'souza and went off on my second tour of duty. Recuiting. Melissa and I were married in Mitchell, South Dakota. After 2 months in Mitchell we were moved to Sioux Falls, S.D.. In October of 2004 we transfered to Hawaii for my third tour of duty. Melissa and I purchased our first home in Feb 05. Around the Apr of 06 Melissa and I started having noticeable problems. By this time I had become depressed and was drinking myself stupid. With the alcohol and depression ruling my life I hit the lowest point of my life. By the end of 06 I will be divorved. Leaving me to be a single man going into 07. New year brings new hope.
